Immersive Ecotherapy

Solace

IGlobally and in Canada, patients living with illnesses face multiple threats to their quality of life, including psychological distress and disease, and treatment-related symptom burden.

Pharmacologic approaches often do not address the        underlying and prevalent emotional dimensions of suffering including existential fear/distress, and current

non-pharmacologic psychosocial interventions are also.  resource-and personnel-intensive.

I - Ecotherapy refers to therapeutic interventions that

involve exposure to nature-based stimuli to promote

physical and psychological well-being.

This novel immersive audio & visual-based intervention seeks

to address all forms of suffering including pain, psychological distress, spiritual and existential suffering, which are among

the most common challenges patients face.

Endurance

I-Ecotherapy approach builds upon existing evidence that exposure to natural environments, whether direct or simulated, decreases anxiety and pain, and improves mood and quality of life.

I-Ecotherapy has the power to help the patient transcend his immediate condition and surroundings, is reassuring, grounding, and soothing both in healthcare environments and/or at home.
